OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM – WHO'S WHO

Capitol Light is a service business, therefore our people are our greatest asset. Everyone on the team plays a vital role in our success, whether they are in management, design, sales, purchasing, accounting, or the warehouse. Below are just a few of the people who are contributing to making Capitol Light one of the leading lighting distributors in the nation.

President

David Mullane joined Capitol Light in 1984 and developed the national account business with an emphasis on specialty retailers. He expanded Capitol Light’s services over the years to include not only Lighting Design and New Construction Supply, but also Lamp Replacement which began in 1993 followed by the Capitol Light Maintenance Division in 1998. He has broadened Capitol Light’s target market to include auto dealerships, casinos, cinemas, financial institutions, hotels, and restaurants, day-care, healthcare and educational facilities. He promotes the use of ‘Green’ lighting technologies as outlined in our Sustainability Charter. He has built a loyal team of experienced, lighting professionals as well as a loyal customer base that he is happy to call family.

Vice President of Sourcing & Distribution

Chris Klimkosky joined Capitol Light in 1996. A top account manager for many years, he handled a host of key clients. He provided not only lighting fixtures but also switchgear, lighting controls, HVAC parts and even ceiling grid and tile, so it was a logical choice for him to move to purchasing in 2005. In 2011 he was promoted to overseeing National Account warehouse operations as well. He understands the unique challenges that multi-location customers face as well as his internal customers’ needs.
